Monthly Subsidy Alerts
To help promote the monthly public hearings at the New York City Industrial Development Agency and other agencies that allocate economic development subsidies, GJNY created a monthly email “subsidy alert”. The email has information about upcoming hearings of subsidized development proposals as well as news about current projects. On this page you will find a history of public hearing notices dating back to 2002.
In addition to our monthly listserve, as of 2010 you can sign up to receive public hearing notices directly from the Industrial Development Agency and Capital Resource Corporation.
The next IDA public hearing will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10:00 am at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), 110 William Street, 4th Floor in Lower Manhattan. The nearest subway station is Fulton Street.
Written testimony can be submitted to: New York City Industrial Development Agency 110 William Street, 5th Floor, New York, New York 10038. Thanks to increased transparency measures being phased in at the IDA as of September 2010, all current project applications and cost/benefit analyses will be made available to the public fourteen days before the hearing. Project documents are posted on the IDA website, or you may contact the public records access officer at publichearings@nycedc.com. We encourage interested organizations and individuals to attend the hearings and provide input on particular projects to the members of the IDA/CRC board.
